1. Prerequisite Accessory Requirements

Please Note: The 3UF7010-1AV00-0 is only the processing core. To function as a complete motor protection system, it must be paired with an external current measuring module (e.g., 3UF71...) and connected via a specific system ribbon cable (e.g., 3UF793...). It cannot measure current directly.

2. Isolation and Wiring Safety

• Ensure all 110–240 V power feeds to the basic unit and main motor contactors are disconnected before wiring.

• The internal 24 V DC power provided for the 4 digital inputs is intended only for connecting dry, potential-free contacts. Do not feed external voltage into these input terminals, as doing so will permanently damage the basic unit's internal circuitry.

3. PROFIBUS Addressing

• The PROFIBUS DP address must be assigned prior to commissioning. This can be configured either via the software (SIRIUS ES / TIA Portal), through an optional operator panel (3UF7200), or by using the addressing plug (3UF7910-0AA00).
